Samtel Machines is an arm of  Flagship Samtel Group of 6000+ employee and revenue of 1500 crores with 9 world class facilities. 

It is a consequence of Samtel’s in house expertise in automation, which in 1995 prompted us to set up Corporate Equipment Division (CED) to cater to the various in house requirements focusing on Assembly Automation, Material Handling, Special Purpose Machines, Industrial Washing Machines etc. During its tenure, the CED was responsible for setting up projects worth $200 million. This set up the foundation for a full fledged division catering to the needs of external customers called Samtel Machines.

 

Since its inception in 2006, Samtel Machines has set quality and delivery standards through its expertise in the area of Machine building for clients in the domestic and international arena. As of now we are having a track record of more than 200 projects which have been delivered to our prestigious customers such as Honda Seil, Honda motorcycles and scooters, Maruti Suzuki, Suzuki Motorcycle, Mahindra & Mahindra, LG, JCB, Hitachi Metglas, Delphi, Rico Auto etc.

 

We derive our expertise and rich 35 + yrs. experience in Automation through our in-house development, Project Management and installation of India’s most automated plants worth $ 200 million dollars.The engineering capability and rich experience enables us to be a complete Solution Provider  from conceptualizing, designing, manufacturing, implementing, commissioning and supporting the usages of systems.

 

Our  design are optimum in nature and equipments are user friendly, easy to maintain which  increases the productivity of our customers.Our  offering includes Assembly Automations, Material Handling Projects, Conveyors, Leak Testing Machines, Welding Automation, Industrial washing Machines, Special Purpose Machines, Water jet cutting Machines, Robotic automation and Pick & Place Systems.

Project Management and  Execution Methodology:-

Since communication is a key for successful execution of project as there are various agency involved from both the sides   ( Our end- application , marketing , design, assembly and Customer end- project, production, maintenance team ) hence we nominate a Project Manager for every project who closes all the issues within the company as well as with customer. It is worthwhile to mention that we have experience of executing around 2000 Cr worth various types of equipments in our different  projects and assembly lines.

• We are having in-house installed 6500 m of conveyors and 180 robots and other important material handling equipments.

Sh. Satish K. Kaura
Chairman & Managing Director, Samtel Group

Sh. Satish Kumar Kaura is the Chairman & Managing Director of the Samtel Group. He founded the Group in 1973. Under his leadership, Samtel has evolved into a world-class manufacturer of high technology electronic display devices for televisions, avionics and professional applications. He has steered the Group to its current leadership position by relying on indigenously developed in-house technology.  

Mr. Kaura is the Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry's Industrial Policy Committee and Co-Chairman of CII National Committee on Defence & Aerospace. He is also a Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering. He has also the distinction of being a member of Defence Research & Development Organization’s Review Committee & Prime Minister’s Scientific Advisory Council. He has also been the President of Electronic Components Industries Association and served as Chairman of Confederation of Indian Industry (Northern Region).
Mr. Kaura is the recipient of numerous awards and honors. He is the first recipient of Indian Institute of Technology’s (Kanpur) Distinguished Alumni Award (1989). The Electronic Industries Association of India and Consumer Electronics & TV Manufacturers' Association have honored him with their ‘Electronics Man of the Year’ awards. In 1994, HRH Prince Phillip awarded Mr. Kaura the Care for Nature Award in recognition for his concerns for environment protection. The Lucknow Management Association honored him with the Uttar Pradesh Transformational Leadership Award in 2002, for his contribution in strengthening the economy of the state. The Society for Information Display conferred a Special Recognition Award in 2005 for his outstanding entrepreneurial leadership in the display industry in India.
Mr. Kaura was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2004 for his distinguished services to the nation, in the field of Science and Engineering. 
Mr. Kaura holds an engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and a Masters Degree in Electronics, from Carleton University, Canada. 


Narendra Kumar Sehgal

N.K.Sehgal is the Chief Executive Officer, Samtel Machines. He is a Mechanical Engineer from NIT Kurukshetra, and has 40+ years of industrial experience in the field of Equipment Building, Management of large size projects in the field of heavy machinery and process industries, Complex utilities services, Building of power houses from concept to execution with rotary and reciprocating machines with different fuels, and Operation of automated process industries in electronics and TV glass. 
He has also worked with Moserbaer, BST, Ashoka and Thapar group in key positions, and has been associated with Samtel group from the last 30-years.

Sunil Kumar

Sunil Kumar is Head-Marketing at Samtel Machines-Ghaziabad. He has done B.E. (Mechanical) from B.I.T. Sindri and PGDBM in Marketing and International Business from IMT-Ghaziabad. Prior to joining Samtel, he has worked at Schenck Rotec India Ltd. (A Durr Group COmpany and a German MNC), Avasarla Technologies and ISGEC (UP Steels).
During his 18+ years of work experience, he has handled PAN India business, Global account of Vibration Reliability Systems, and export business of thermal & hydro turbine castings with Alstom, Siemen, Fincanteiri & Skoda etc.
He is well-versed in the fields of starting new operations, team development and management.

B.V. Srinath is Head-Business Development at Samtel Machines, Bangalore. He is an Engineering graduate with MBA in International Business. He is a dynamic professional with nearly 27 years of extensive experience in Sales & Marketing department of various Multinational companies for their products & solutions [Domestic & International Market] in the area of Automation [Mechtronics], IT solutions, Telecommunication and Computerized Electronic Weighing Systems in India and abroad. 
He is responsible for the group’s foray into Nuclear, Atomic Energy, Aerospace & Defence, Heavy Engineering in both Public & Private Enterprise for supply of SPM’s & Automation Systems across India.

Ravi Mittal is Head - Operations at Samtel Machines. He is a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering with a rich experience of 24+ years. Prior to Samtel, he has worked with M/s National Engineering Industries (A Birla Group company), Jaipur. During his 20 years with NEI, he worked with their R&D Department and  handled various departments such as Machine Building (inhouse), Tool Design, New Product development, Vendor development & Sourcing; and played a key role in the development of the Organization.
Ravi’s inception in Samtel Machines has been from the very beginning of the Division. At Samtel Machines, he is responsible for effective Project Management and ensuring First time right and Timely delivery of Projects, and at the end, ensuring a satisfied customer.
